1. I think we worked well in a group, firstly because we all agreed on the song choice and we didn't really have any problems with coming up with ideas. Shamim was comfortable with doing all the camera work, plus he's handy with cameras so this was an advantage for us. there were no problems on which roles we had. everyone was comfortable with the given role.
2. The problems we faced through out the production of our music video were our group gaining access to the roof to film one of our scenes. they way we overcame this was by asking several members of staff if we can have access to the roof. in the end our subject teacher came with us so we were able to finish that scene which was the last bit of the video.
3. If we added some improvements such as better camera quality and better camera shots it would make the music video look more professional compared to actual music videos.
4. the audience found our music video pretty impressive however they made some points where we can improve on such as using a better camera and taking better shots i have learnt from this because next time i can act on it.
5. in this music video we used software such as adobe photoshop, this helped us to edit and create scenes and images and also create our storyboard. we also used adobe premier to edit the clips and put them together. this helped us to shorten and lengthen the clips so that the music video would be in sync. this software also helped us to edit our scenes e.g. at the end of the video we zoomed into the ground to create a falling effect.

music analysis - we found love
The narrative of this music video is that these two individuals have fell in love but are getting nothing good out of it. As the video progresses they start to get tired of being with each other all the time. This is when the fights and the arguments take place.
Editing - In this upbeat music video, there are lots of cuts and different angles. All of the cuts and scene transformations go at the same time as the beat does. there are also many different places where the video is shot, such as the skate park, the diner, the slot machines, apartment, the car, outside the flats. there are also many scenes of her standing in front of the wall with other videos being projected onto her portraying which emotions she is going through.

Why we use Chroma key
Chroma keying is a technique used for layering two images together. A specific colour in the top layer is made transparent so that you can see the bits of the image behind the first one. This technique is mostly used in video-production and post-production. This is mainly used for weather forecasts broadcasts. In the forecasts it shows a news presenter standing in front of a large map with sometimes moving pictures e.g rain, snow, sunshine etc.
Green-screening and Blue screening are widely used in special effects in movies.

BTEC media homework - Fat boy slim
Narrative
This music video is mainly about a guy that is listening to music and then decides to get up start dancing. He dances for the rest of the video and at the end he goes sits back down in the chair. its a fairly simple story line.
Treatment
The over all look of the video to me was who ever made it, made it so that the impossible was possible. It is rather strange to see a man of that age running around dancing and even flying, but it was kind of entertaining because i wanted to see what hes going to do next.
Connection to the song
The song and the video, if you think about it its trying to say break the sterio typical thought of what people expect you to be and express who you are in the inside. Its also saying to the guy, your still a ladies man and you got plenty still in you, your cool so go get your groove on. The song says you could go this way or you could do that, showing there is choice in where you go.
Mise En Scene
-Clothes and make up
The only clothing seen through out the video is a brown suit with a white shirt and a red tie.
-Location
The location was some high class hotel that was empty.
-Props
There was a lots of plants seen through out the video in the background. At the beginning there were some rather large curtains above the man and there was chairs with a little table inbetween. There was also a trolly of towels with a radio on top. The man tapped a little bell thats seen on desks before ridding a luggage cart. He even danced up and down some escalators, which if you ask me is bloody dangerous. Many chairs and tables is seen in the video as well as a few lamps. Before he danced on the table he kicks some magazines or newpapers of it. There was a portrait of a man, probably him in the long corridor of mirrors. A few small bins were out side the elevators.
-Lighting
There was alot of lighting in background in the beginning. The rest of the lighting came from mostly lamps and the room lighting and sometimes shiny objects that reflected the light.
-Actor movements/ expressions
The character totally expressed his feelings and had a big smile on his face at times. His movements went with the music and his dancing seemed like some fancy jazz type thing.
Camera shots/ types/ movements
There was a number of shots including long shots, low shots, moving camera, really long shot, medium close ups and shots when the camera was still.
